So someone can write a tune for me in TC OBD II, and I can load it to my car with DST... right?

Nope!

You would have to convert it one table at a time into .jcl format.
TC users can't open .jcl either.

Howard,

On the last update to DST, Jet user's can now open a .cal from the TC user file format. Jet user's can now save this .cal into a jcl file fromat only for DST.

Then you can upload and download your tune as you like.

TC users can only open .bin and .cal file formats.

What you can do is upload your tune and data log and ask for a few pointers and see what happens.

We've all been down this road before, read heaps, don't forget to have some fun.....

Cheers

Mick..

Thanks Mick,
yeah...you're right.
I forgot about that.
Since owning EFILive, my Jet DST now lives in the bottom of my toolbox...never to see the light of day again. Lol!

I think you could convert to a 0411 pcm using a roadrunner.

Find a suitable tune cal, do a segment swap on the speedo segment so you don't have to convert your instrument cluster.

Run a operating sytem part number 12212156 and you can have options for forced induction.

There are options for you which I must say sound radical for the newer diy-efi folks, but sorry none of this can be acheived with the TC OBD2.

There would be a little research needed, but I hear folks getting this type of thing on.

Just depends on how much you are hooked and how far you are prepaired to go.

Cheers

Mick

There are a couple of guys on the Pacific Performance forum who have converted from 96/97 to 0411.
Stealth97 is one of them. Actually, he was the first.

Re

You can also get connectors from Mike at EFI connections. This is for the LS1....

PS. I've bought from Mike and he is great. He stands by his product, and he is a great technical resource. If I remember correctly, his handle is S10Wildsides, or something like that. He cruises this forum on occasion, so PM him....
