Looking for a list of GM Table acronyms.

Hello all. Can we do a sticky for the newbies like me that list what all the GM engine controlls and tables are and a short definition of what they do like example below? I'm going through the list of tables, and some of these i don't even know what they are. Kind of like this.

DFCO=Decelleration Fuel Cut Off When you lift foot off throttle it slowly backs out fuel delivery so engine doesnt get instant fuel cutoff when throttle body is slammed shut. and blah blah
LTFT=Long Term Fuel Trim
SHFT=Short Term Fuel Trim
BLM=Block Learn Mulitiplier

I like the SCT superchips setup/layout for Fords alot more than JET setup as you can click on a particular table and get a little paragraph to the right that pops up and it tells you what that particular sensors function is in charge of. I know this was the original program, but i have the JET setup now and am trying to relate the HP tuner info on the 1998 vortec 4.3 V-6 to the tables in my JET DST tuner.

Have you seen the ls1 SCT software? It may be compatible with the v6's.
Tunercat was not originally intended for amateur usage. OBD1 stuff was, at one point, professional level only.

Yes i looked into that, but at the time of my purchase only JET had the running software and blackbox to be able to tune my 4.3 vortec. I already have and use a handheld realtime scanner/troublecode delete. i just needed the capability to read and rewrite the GM compter settings to my liking. I know it only does two VINs..but i only bought it for my truck and not planning on doing cutomers vehicles. I'll leave that to the pros..Although its nice to have expandability for 150.00 if i want to add more VINs if i ever buy another vehicle. I have one spare for my next vehicle still.
