Not to Worry! TunerCats Will still be Selling us VDF's

I emailed TunerCats myself and asked a few Questions for those of you who dont know, we will still be able to buy all VDF's including ones that will be new and are not even out yet. So you all will never be VIN locked to any PCM as long as you bought your package through TunerCats.

And if you ever experience a problem they are still there to help and you will still be able to get the interface cables from them. All updates are helpful and wont VIN lock your software to a VIN.

From what I understand there will be new VDF files in the making that will be for the TunerCat users and the JET users. So whatever comes out for JET we will be able to buy. I did not get an answer to if the VDF prices wil change but I hope not. I will find out soon.

I think this will help Tunercats come out with some new VDF files and software so I think its a great move to relieve some load. Jet will only handle sales and customer support only.

Thanks, JohhnyVillian

I also emailed TC about this. The price for future purchases of VDFs will still be $80 for current TunerCat owners.

That is a good thing and will keep me as a customer for them. If I got stuck paying the new prices it would be the last time I bought anything from them.

I am also happy to hear this news. When I purchased my Tunercat, I had certain expectation for future expansion of definition file coverage. I am glad it will remain the same for us early Tunercat buyers.

MXSCan will also be nice, when it gets released.

peace
Hog
