If I remember correctly,Mick and John(TC) converted some over to TC,but I don't think it's something that's supposed to be done due to licensing.
If you have both TC program and DST program you can copy and paste table's between the two program's,that is what another aussie I know is doing with his. I wouldn't mind having a copy of DST to check out if someone wanted to send me a copy,doubt I could use it with my TC box. |

2002 L31 Van with 4L60E. For those that want to do a 12200411 Swap into a black box ECM truck you are gonna need this file or an LS1 motor.
I put one in there with VATS disable because our trucks dont have VATS. With it enabled you get no spark. |

Yeah,that's what he was referring too.Our's has no VAT's,our's being 96-97 vortec's.When we swap to the 0411 ECM we have to disable VATS in the 0411 since it will not start without the signal.
Tunercat II was originally made for support for the 96-97 truck's and was of course expanded to include the other platform's.That we know of there is no other support for the 96-97 vortec truck's,I believe EFIlive just came out with a def. file for it though. None of us on here that I know of know's how to dissassemble VDF's or make the program's,thank god someone else did.I know you've got machine's that boggle the mind to tune with and also know the old school hex and binary dissassembly and I wish I knew half of what you've forgotten. Most of us are having a hard time just figuring out how to use the program's and how the different system's work on the car.I feel lucky that I have the little experience automotive wise that I do,most user's on here I've noticed aren't alway's in the automotive business but have a love for their vehicle's.I applaud anyone who would want to learn to do it themselve's instead of just paying someone to do it.We've got all kinds of people from all walk's of life with some very similar interest's.Most of them are spending day and night just trying to figure enough out to tune one car that they have slaved building for sometime's year's. Sorry for the longwinded post,but I want Ed to stick around since his knowledge would benefit us all.I have nothing but respect for you Ed,your truly one of the pioneer's in what we are doing and why we are doing it.
