Most OBD-II scanners really do not support or understand many of the GM enhanced PIDs nor do they support the other signal sets in the car/truck.

Scanner I use does and as to ABS there is about 100 PIDs that are useful

Hi Marco

you can get the scanner through me.
It's by Ease. They are a tier 2 supplier to GM so they do not have to guess or backward engineer all GM PIDs and the changes they make every year and signal sets ( modules)

We allow different makeup of options that can be bought now or can be added later by software license change.

Can support 1982 to present, models for most US and non American models, generic ( EPA) or Enhanced.
For GM cars/trucks you can get for engine, all trannie PIDS, all BCM functions, EBTCM, IPC, RCDLR, radio, airbag, even functions liks seats and mirrors, and also Onstar.

It does all the EPA tests, 02 tests, mode $06, etc.
Also does Ishop, full reports, scans, DTCs, can tell you all the segment and versions of PCM and recordings can be as little a minute to hours depending on free diskspace.
Allows you to make custom PID groups, on screen meters, 6 graphs with multi pids per graph

Collection rate can be from SAE rate to 40 frames a second with up to 50 concurrent PIDs.

Hardware pre OBD-III (VPW) can be a RS232 interface or USB, for OBD-III (CAN) is USB, for full GMLAN is wireless ( little less functions with USB) .

Newest V7 via Internet allows you to click an Icon and it auto updates and software updates.

Has some bi-directional for engine functions used for test purposes such as turning a fan on/off, A/C on/off or a injector to add or remove fuel, turn AIR pump or it's solenoid on/off, etc.

Yes the scanner reports ANY of the car's modules DTCs and they can be cleared.
DTCs are broken down to report, generic EPA, enhanced, freeze frames, history and current.
It then also allows in a shop format to build a report showing all DTCs, EPA I/M, O2 tests, and mode $04 and $06 results.

Ease allows 3 levels of software function, we can turn them on at any time when you buy the access codes for them

Level 1 is engine and trannie
Level 2 is all other modules except airbag
Level 3 is airbag this allows people who in most cases not interested in airbag to buy level 1, or levels 1 and 2 and later add level 3.

Not sure what you mean by relearn modules but scanner sends out the requests for each module and then reports what each one's response is as to the PIDs they support.

We call each module having it's own signal set, thus if I call for IPC ( dash) then that controller responds with all PIDs it uses and their values or a subfunction as example the cruise control, which then reports all the PID values for it or as example the outside rearview mirrors and then get the PID values as to the setting of each mirror.

This becomes even more useful if you turn on access to other nameplates such as Ford, Dodge, Asian, etc
