Hey

I am new to this stuff. I rebuilt the engine In my 91 K2500 and need to fine tune it for the cam and heads. It is really sluggish below 2500 RPMs. I put a set of stock Vortec heads on it along with a Edelbrock Performer Intake, and a set of 1 5/8" Intermediate length Headers. I used a Crane Powermax cam (.440/.454 lift 210/216 duration @.050 with an advertised duration of 270/276). I am looking for ideas of where to start or if anyone has done a setup similar to this.

Josh

Do you have anything to program it with? That computer has a chip that you will have to burn and replace. If not, check out moates.net, and tunercat.com they have the stuff you will need. I believe that there are real time emulators out there for those also.

Yes I bought a programmer for the eproms, an emulator, and some extra eproms. I downloaded the TunerCat RT onto my laptop. I have everything I need to start programming.
