I can either Create a new VDF (I think for unsupported only) or Customize/Modify a VDF that someone owns.

Say you want MBT timing table added or the Two Bank Fuel Control Switch added. I can do that. Or even a 3800 L67 VDF that has everything added to it. OK what is it worth? You paid $80 for the VDF. I am thinking Custom work maybe $20 to $50 and $50 is pushing it.

Now My Duramax VDF is going to be GOLD!
This won't be a $80 VDF. It will give you unlimited trucks. Tuners shops with TC will make out on this deal.

Do the math on what it would cost to tune 12 duramax trucks with EFILive. That would be 1 a month for a year.

Now I am not selling TC's just one VDF VS. EFILive and a cable. So the price will reflect that. Plus I am just a little pissy about that thing so I would love to just give them away, but I can't.

Would it be worth 2 time the cost of a regular set of VDF's? Maybe 3 times the amount? Lets just say 3 times the amount $240. That would be for UNLIMITED tuning on the supproted Duramax's. Wow is tha a deal

Boy I wonder what an above mentiond "tools" Duramax .dbf is worth?

Cool Aj, thanks for your input. I hope your Duramax VDF works out. And yes, you are right, the tuner shops with TC2 will make out big. I wish I had a Duramax in the driveway.

Is your Duramax VDF the same diesel VDF that is rumoured to be coming down the pipe for TC users? Or is the Tunercats diesel VDF a seperate entity from your VDF? I wonder if TC will be selling theirs for $80?

peace
Hog

CAN, yes please. Although I do admit I have'nt done much tuning lately. The last "fun" I had was doing some rev limiter testing for a resident tuner.
School has me VERY busy. I did manage to make the Dean's list last semester, so it's not ALL rocks in between my ears.

Good luck with your tuning AJ.

peace
