I have created 1 VDF from scratch, but I don't know if it works because it was just a test and 100% factitious.

We have found a way to gather information from a PCM needed to improve VDF's and build new VDF's

It's clearly spelled out in the Editor help menu. If you can take someone elses work, and make changes--and sell it, let me know.

The HPT 'transcient fueling' doesn't really exist

There are fuel adaptives, corrections, delta fuel mass, makeup trims, equivalence ratios, ... another 200+ fuel tables and constants in the black box ECM.

Was trying to fix a lean stumble that happens when the throttle is opened quickly. Worse when cold. Problem since the mercruiser intake was installed.
The guys that have done 411 swaps along with the Marine intake swaps that are using EFLive have come up with a CAX file that fixes the issue. I was looking for a similar fix for the blackbox.

Thanks Programmer.

peace

The way it is spelled out to us is that we can alter a registered customer of TC's VDF and only that as far as the TC VDF's and not mine.

I just can't see a reason that EFILive should have Table, Constants, Switches, and Diagnostic Parameters that TC doesn't have.

I can add them for a fee. I can verify the changes 100%.

At first I thought I could only alter existing VDF's, but the VDF Editor allows for creating them also.

"We" just acquired another software package that save as bins.

I think the mouse in your pocket talks too much.

Explain this in your own words:

"The ECM Definition File Editor also allows you to edit existing Definition Files. Please note that even if you edit an existing ECM Definition File, the distribution rights to this file remain with the original author, even if the original Definition File were not password protected."

After successfully completing that task, explain this in your own words:

"After editing an existing ECM Definition File, you may use the editing Definition File for your own use, but you MAY NOT distribute this edited Definition File without the expressed written permission of the original author of the un-edited ECM Definition File."

I would pay for 96 Saturn SL1 tuning abilities. Make the VDF and you've got a deal.
